I was trying to do a run cycle at an angle like a little bit from above, and behind, but I couldn’t seem to get it right. It struck me that I didn’t even know if I could get one right at a side view, because I couldn’t really picture the poses. How does the foot land, I wondered, so I figured maybe I should just do that instead.
I don’t animate enough. Maybe if I watch this enough I’ll feel the compulsion more often.

The least I could do is live a life where at the end of the day I can know I did the things I wanted to and should have done, regardless of how successful they end up. I’m tired of wasting time, but how often do I tell myself that?
Still, it’s better to keep saying that and failing than to give up entirely. I know that every minute is a chance to follow through.

Some character designs for a comic anthology that Yuj asked me to be a part of, based on the theme of the world ending…
My story is about a guy who finishes up his last day of work before retiring, when it becomes apparent that it’s not just his job that’s ending (it’s the world, too). What was it all for?
Not super unique designs, but you sometimes you don’t want that. Older/middle aged people are hard to design… We’re aiming to put out the anthology I think next September, but I’m sure I’ll post more about it before then.
